Heraclit (fragmente)

Pe radacini vechi dormeam un somn
noduros. Pe crengi, fratii mei isi zvantau
pletele lungi.Vantul incetase.Apoi, deodata a
inceput o parasire uriasa.

1.

O pasare de lemn a trecut de pe copac pe tabla caselor
copacul astepta o pasare de tabla
pentru mine toate erau perfect conjugate
dar eram pasarea de lemn si de tabla care sedea pe un scaun si se uita
pe fereastra

(Imbratiseaza-ma, soarele meu ud. Toiagul
ochilor s-a ratacit. Cel ce doarme le imprumuta
pomilor varul inocentei noastre. In soba,
cuvintele trosnesc usor.)

3.

Stateam la spatele meu si visam sa ma bucur ca piciorul meu
cautam cuvinte hexagonale
la limita de sarma a linistei
cautam culori lungi imi era foame de culori lungi
visam manusi si ghete de sunete violete
si casele sunau si norii fosneau
si eu oxigenam in gand nenumarate turme de oi si le fardam
pentru marea transhumanta de primavara
apoi dupa munca aceasta istovitoare
treceam in fata mea si imi stergeam sudoarea de pe frunte

4.

Noaptea cocosii aveau creste de tipat
rasuflarea lumii imi aburea geamul
si eu il stergeam cu un prosop curat
du-te careva de vezi cainele asta
apoi o femeie foarte frumoasa imi dadea lapte
poate avea foarte multe lampi nu mai stiu
vorbeam incet sa nu-i sfasii camasa
ea imi dadea lapte si paine si pornea desculta pe drum
spre est spre vest spre surd spre mort

 

Heraclitus (fragments)

On ancient roots I was sleeping a knotty
sleep.On top of branches did my brothers wave
theitr long hair.The wind had stopped.Then suddenly,
an enormous isolation began.

1.

A wooden bird flew from the tree onto the tin roofs of houses
the tree was waiting for a tin bird
as for me,all seemed perfectly natural
but I was the bird of wood and of tin who sat on a chair and looked
out the window

(Hug me, my wet sun. The sceptre
of eyes had lost its way. He that sleeps lends
the trees the lime of our innocence. In the fireplace,
the words crack gently.)

3.

I stood against my back dreaming to rejoice as my foot does
I looked for hexagonal words
at the wiry limit of silence
I looked for long colours I was hungry for long colours
I dreamt of gloves and boots of violet sounds
and the houses echoed and the clouds trembled
and I, in my mind, oxygenated the countless herds of sheep and I painted them
for the great transhumance of spring
then after this tiresome work
I stepped in front of myself and wiped the sweat off my forehead

4.

At night the cocks had crests of scream
the breathing of the world obscured my window
and I wiped it with a clean towel
anybody,go look after this dog
then a very beautiful woman served me milk
she may have had many lamps but anyway
I spoke gently not to tear off her nightgown
she served me milk and bread and took off barefoot on the road
eastwards westwards north deaf words
